A fellow member wanted to see some pics of my Watson CF hood from the drivers seat.
Sorry for the dirty windshield.
The hood is NOT open in the rear like a traditional cowl hood, at some point I plan on changing that by opening a couple of heat relief holes in the back.
The stock hood is already light, that being said you'll only save a few pounds. So this is more about clearance and looks.
When it comes to the CJ IM, you still have to relieve/clearance a very small area at the rear, the frame work of the hood, as this area of the hood mimics the stock hood.
At one point there was talk of a fiberglass version to reduce cost, IDK if Watson has followed through on this idea.
In the end I LOVE my Watson CF Cowl Hood, it is everything that I wanted and more.
