Counterfeit filters

I bought a Hi-Po ford filter from Amazon (M-6731-FL820). It shipped out of Michigan. The box looks legit and the filter feels heavy but the label is just a sticker and it's put on crooked.

Based on this info does this sound like a knock-off filter?

Looks just like the ones I've received from various vendors.

I can't imagine the order volume on this filter is high enough to knock off despite being a pretty expensive filter.

Thanks. I figured if it was bogus they'd take a second to make the label straight. But on the other it's a cheesy crooked label on a supposed high end filter.

I can't say about your filter but I have gotten at least 2 items from Amazon that were discovered to be knock offs. I dont order anything from them anymore.

Looks like the exact same filter I have been using. Sometimes the label is straight sometimes not! Ford performance has those filters made for them and then
has their label put on them.

Hey, haven't you looked at your car? Ha ha. That kind of sloppy QC would surprise me from an Asian or German automaker, but not Ford .
