Cotus Reliability?

So Cotus says my mustang is supposed to be here on 11/21/14, but it has never showed in transit since its build date on 10/28/14, does anyone know if cotus is actually reliable and my car will show up hopefully in the next couple of days? or is it really just sitting in michigan...?

It is not reliable. Some cars have been delivered and COTUS still shows in transit. It is a beta program and we are the guinea pigs. Your dealership or Rachel of Ford Service would have better answers.

I think the avg is 1 week early?

There was a GT that got to my dealer and sold but in Cotus it was still showing in transit even a week after it was sold. I was tracking that car to see how long it would take for a car to get from Michigan to my dealer. Unfortunately it didn't help at all. I don't think Cotus is very reliable which is scary because I want to be there the day my car arrives. I don't want the dealer driving it or showing it to other people

Mine was delivered today but COTUS still shows the 27th as the EDD. Once I got word that it was in transit I managed to get the rail car number and then used that to track it. Too bad I can't pick my ride up until Monday.

NOT reliable at all my car was build 10/9 EDD on cotus was 11/16 and nothing my dealership says it might arrive some time next week. Yup sucks

Not reliable. I place my order 05/20 (GT Premium CO) and it went into Transit on
10/29 and the MI rail depot rcvd it on 10/31. My EDD is 11/20 and seeing as how
my countdown clock went to 1 day yesterday (it is now "0"). I called FORDSERVICE
and they said it is STILL at the MI rail depot (19 day and counting--just setting).

Trust the Dealer

COTUS indicates 27 Nov as the delivery date but my dealer's Fleet Manager claims it will actually be 5-10 Dec. Sadly, I tend to believe the dealers ETA.

My wait is nothing compared to some of the early orders guys so I'll patiently wait and hope I get that special call: "She's here!"

i spoke with my salesman and he said that his system was still showing it sitting at the lot in flat rock waiting on a train...

According to COTUS, I have 3 days left. Meanwhile my car is sitting in my garage. So yeah...about that COTUS...

I really hope COTUS is wrong in my case. Its says EED 1/8/2015, but my dealer told me that it would be somewhere between 12/6 - 12/15 !!
