If they didn't have an allocation, you would not have gotten your DORA. That proves the order was accepted by Ford.

If I am wrong, someone correct me please:cheers:
Here? Never gonna happen. Oh, wait...

For me, the order number changed from the one on my "screen shot" they originally gave me going from some 5 or 6 digit order number to a 4 character alphanumeric order number. But since you have a DORA, you should be able to see yours. I had to work with Ford Customer Care (on the phone) to hunt down my actual order. They gave me the correct order number and VIN.

Well I confirmed with the dealer. It is what I thought might have happened. Ford hasn't picked up my order yet. My order is in limbo until the dealer gets an allocation. Next week they say. Always next week.

I got my DORA on 1/2, the day my order was placed, and left the dealer with it. My dealer didn't have allocation until February, but COTUS progressed right away.

Strange that your order hasn't been "picked up", mine was immediately. I still don't have the car, but that's another saga altogether.

It's been over 3 days and I still can't get on. Has anyone had their order number changed? Wondering if the dealer changed it and never told me.

Looks like everyone else isn't having issues with cotus.

I'm having issues -- some code was used twice at the dealership where I placed the order -- Ford Service told me I'll be able to use COTUS again when I get a VIN, but everything looked good on their end...

Mine stopped showing up on COTUS 3 days ago. I ordered on 3/26 and still don't have a VIN. Anyway to find out if my dealer has allocation without asking them?

Maybe ask Ford Service on here? Let me know -- I know they were able to determine that my order is in fact still in -- COTUS is just confused.

Yea did. They just tell me the same b.s. it's in ordering process and dealer allocation. Should be first come first serve in the manufacturing process.

I totally agree. I just sent them a PM asking if my dealer has allocation.

Go straight to your dealer and ask if they have an allocation. This is not something they should hide.

I put in my order last Friday and decided to try and check COTUS for my status yesterday. It was displaying but not showing a build date or EDD yet. I checked this morning and now I have an EDD of 5/1/2015 but no build date. Hopefully that date stays firm!:headbang:

I'm guessing they didn't. Read through some old emails and my priority code was 19 but is now 11. They couldn't make it 10 because somebody else has that code already.

11 means you are second in line for your order to be pulled as along as there are no holds on your order. Meaning parts shortages.
