driving to work this morning and there is definitely more constant volume inside the cabin. I will have to get used to it. I passed some cars and can hear the note echo off of other cars and it sounds good and aggressive. the sports are much much deeper. I like the xtreme though.

cold start this morning too was about as loud as sports so it's not that bad

How much louder? I'm leaning towards the Xtreme, but I don't want it unbearably loud/boomy in the cabin.

its not nearly as loud in cabin as I feared, but you will hear it all the time. there is not much hiding it. but what I found with the sports is that sometimes it can be too quiet. but shifting at 3k and below is not too bad at all with the xtremes.

You know the Corsa Xtremes are a good choice when you got the camera man all happy and excited, lol. I noticed this in Khyber's video too.

I just followed up with my local shop and they mentioned that the xtremes are in (not sure when they actually arrived), and I'm going to have these installed on Monday hopefully.

I love the Corsa sound, I just wish there was an option slightly less loud than the sports.

you can hear it...just like any exhaust when you accelerating, but when it's on cruise you won't. it doesn't drone.

come on man. that's too quiet then. just get touring axle back and keep suitcase resonator then if you think sports are too loud. lol

What's it like around the dreaded 2000rpm under light load? Hills etc.

My last car was an SS commodore (your Pontiac G8) and I fell for the "guaranteed not to drone". Admittedly it didn't drone at a constant speed on flat surfaces, but accelerating up hills (both on cruise and around town - Sydney is quite hilly) resonated a lot and often vibrated the entire cabin.

You'll hear it prob uphill of course but that's not drone. You'll hear that with any exhaust but corsa does not drone

Exhaust tone over db levels.
I'm going with the Corsa Touring for a number of reasons. The Xtreme is out of the question and if I thought the wife would go for the Sport I would do it but I know how that would go over as she thinks the stock exhaust is already loud:crazy:.
As with my racing days my desire for loud exhausts have long left me, but a quality sounding exhaust system hasn't and the Touring IMOP fills the bill. It might not be a whole lot louder than stock but the tone quality is much better which is what I'm really after anyway.
Also with the Touring I can always pick up the double X-pipe down the road and turn it into a Sport if need be.

I'm tempted to go Corsa Touring with Borla touring centre muffler...I believe it has internal H pipe within the muffler.

After watching the very good video of the sport it sounds great (unique) but it's by no means subtle. My worry is with headers down the track it's going to scream. I like to give my cars a bit of right foot action every now and then but don't want everybody for a mile radius stare at me :)
