Ok I am confused, which is easy to do. The set up you have in the video's if I am right. Stock exhaust that was cut and the Sport axle back installed? Is the factory resonator still installed? Is the Sport axle back the same mufflers that the extreme used? I am trying to quite down my Catback Extreme System, and your setup is sounding great.
Yes to all

Still liking your Corsa? Would you do it again?

I'm going a similar direction, but Corsa touring axleback with my existing H-pipe. I'm still on the fence if I should just buy the full Corsa sport catback and swap out my H-pipe. I'm don't know if it makes any difference, but I know they use 3" pipe.

I want a deep rumble, no drone, louder than my H-pipe with factory mufflers, but not as loud and raspy as an Extreme. Tough to hit this just right!
Yes, I love it! I'd do it again in a heartbeat, though I'd probably spring for the full Sport catback if I could do it all over again. I just got a great deal on the Sport axleback and made it work. No regrets.

I think you'd really enjoy the Touring axleback with your H-pipe if you're looking for a little bit deeper, throaty tone. It will not drone nor be obnoxious. I'd recommend doing a sound tube delete to tame and clean up the interior sound, as well as improve your tip-in throttle response.

Yes to all. Thanks! I agree it sounds fantastic to me. In your position I'd try and swap to the Touring axleback and keep the double X-pipe to have the full sport catback. Otherwise, yes adding the resonator quiets it down a lot from the Xtreme. It's not a quiet exhaust by any means, but it's extremely DD friendly and never loud enough to upset anyone (or your ears).

Yeah I was trying to trade my extremes for the sports. No luck doing that so I might just try putting the stock exhaust and my mufflers on and see if I like it

You're two 3" to 2.5" reducers and a sawzall away :headbang:

Corsa's instructions on where to cut after the resonator are perfect.

BmacIL in your opinion which was louder, your x-pipe with the factory mufflers, or the factory resonator with Corsa sport axleback?

Oh without a doubt my current setup with the Corsa Sport AB is louder. The factory mufflers are really restrictive on a sound basis, and so tinny (I hated that part of the resonator delete-only). I would guess the Touring AB + resonator would not be a lot or any louder than the resonator delete but the tonal quality would be a massive, massive improvement. Cascadia_302 might be able to give better insight.

For those wanting a very easy inexpensive solution that doesn't make the car super tinny and raspy but noticably louder. In my opinion it sounds better to delete the rear mufflers and leave the stock straight through resonator vs deleting the resonator for a X or H but leaving the stock chambered rear mufflers.

Any idea where to get the reducers from?

Thanks

That does appear to be a sensible option in this exhaust puzzle.

Does anyone know with authority which combination produces more volume?

Resonator delete (X or H) with Corsa Touring AB (touring mufflers).
or
Stock resonator with Corsa Sport AB (extreme mufflers).

Too hard to tell from the videos available.

First option would be way, way louder. A fairer comparison that would produce very similar volume levels would be Corsa Touring AB + resonator delete and Corsa Sport AB + stock resonator. Corsa has them within 1 dB of each other, just a little different tone.

You're quick on the draw. I went back and edited my posted as I realize it was backward.

Thanks BmacIL. Where'd you find this at? That's what I've been looking for.
