Anyone be able to post a link for eBay or Amazon for the correct type Micro 2 fuses for the car?

I need a couple of 5A for my dashcam for starters and I just changed my interior lights for the Diode Dynamics LED ones and blew the 10A one that feeds the vanity lights, glovebox light & trunk light

Turns out that the trunk light holder allows the bulb to be pushed in at 90 degrees to where it should be which blows the fuse. Great. My bad for not looking right but there you go, live n learn.

This one is where I got mine - you can order just one or two if you need to

www.altecautomotive.co.uk
Thanks Pete, well appreciated. Just bought a big selection box on RS though. Will keep them in the car just in case!

Edit: turns out the ones from RS are 7.5A maximum so have bought 2 x 10A from this link after all. Thanks again!

No problem - at least you'll have plenty of spares :D

I got my Micro 2 fuses over the counter at my local Ford Parts dept (not a Ford Store). Next day collection. I have no idea how he managed to identify the correct part numbers.

They don't even sell these in the states, went to a couple of different autopart places in Orlando earlier this month. Just got blank looks when I asked for Micro2 fuse, they then asked what car, tapped it in on their computer and nothing came up.

Really? Jeez. Top tip for all new S550 owners methinks; grab a selection before you need them!

Thanks for all the info. chaps, top work.

Ford will have them. Some of the same are used in the Mondeo (which has spares, unlike the Mustang).

Good to know. I guess the new Edge will have them as well? Bit of a trek for me to get over to the dealer though just for a fuse. Good for piece of mind to have them in the boot too?
