We've finally been fortunate in S. Florida to be blessed with some cooler weather. I think the high temp' yesterday by me was 75'F. It's been a long time since I drove without the A/C running.
So, I got out of work early yesterday and had a chance to clean the car up a little, and then took it out last night to pick up some food. It was about 65'F and I stepped into it a bit, rolling on the throttle to about the half way point. The car broke traction in the top of second gear as the revs climbed. It never did this stock. I don't mean that the tires chirped, it actually fishtailed a bit and I counter steered while keeping the throttle at the half way point until the 3-4 shift.
The shit eating grin that was induced should have been carved onto a pumpkin!
Last winter the car saw cool temps as well ( mid 40's ) once or twice, but that was when it was bone stock. After I had flashed it this year, there was definitely a difference in how the car drove, but in the cooler weather, it's significantly more snappy and pulls nicely.
Thank you to Mother Nature & Wengerd.
