Don't let that fool you, holds a bit more. Before I started, using a dip stick. Read & marked the coolant level. pumped out the coolant.

Not cause I'm cheap, just wanted to check volume. Did add some, don't remember exactly the amount., just that i did.

Coolant tank roulette .... three common designs found

Attempt #1 still looking like a foot ball .

Attempt #2 to big, fits nothing visually

Attempt #3 appearance clean, has the right proportions, functional

Is attempt #2 an aftermarket expansion tank or a revised Ford tank for 2021? If it's Ford, how much bigger does a coolant recovery tank need to be? Why not redesign it be set down the L side of the radiator OR hidden within the inner fender well and only the neck to fill is visible?

So.... a much larger aftermarket rectangular cover to sit over top of an already large ugly bubbly oval shape - to make it even more pronounced in the engine bay... ?
