"Available in September "; I wonder which one ;)
It was September, the year was 2050, an old grey and frail Slowhand was still awaiting the availability of the Ford Approved convertible wind stop.

Looks neater than aftermarket ones I have seen. Do you have to drill any holes to mount it like others I have seen. Does it make much difference? Cheers Greg

Makes a huge difference, approved for use today by an 18 year old daughter with over shoulder length hair no longer needing "tie back".

Yes, you need to drill 4 holes, 2 in each rear side trim panel but Ford's instructions come with cut out templates and there is a nice small trim piece to cover and tidy up those holes. The rear fixing is via rubber covered arms into the rear seat belt recoil aperture. All VERY neat, tidy and pucker OEM.

Id love to see photos (please) of the fixing spots – particularly where you had to drill holes.

If you have a CDC lightbar installed, would this still fit in as well?

Could someone post pics of your windstop installed? From the Ford sales photo posted by MikeR in post #1, it 'looks' shorter and maybe less wide than the Lovethedrive.com windscreen. I have the CDC lightbar, so would also like to know how it fits with that. What is the width of upright/vertical piece (at base and height at the middle)?

https://www.lovethedrive.com/

I have been waiting for US availability of the rumored Ford windstop. ;o)
Is 2 063 486 shown on post #1 Ford page the part number? Google only shows a few UK and Europe link, none over here across the pond.
Thanks.

Regret, unable to help with that one, never seen a CDC bar other than in pics.

Generally speaking though, "stacking" accessories can be problematic, particularly when mixing OEM and non-OEM.

I'll post a sequence of install pics to the MOCGB Facebook site (only lets me do one per post) and then put the links in this thread.
