I use to have a 2012 convertible which I had to get rid of because my trunk and driver's footwell would get flooded after rain. The trunk I blame the gutter design where water would overflow into the trunk if parked facing uphill. The driver's footwell, I have no idea, but there was a good amount of water sloshing around inside the driver side door. Ford was unable to fix either problems.

Now I am dead set on getting the 2015 Ecoboost convertible, and I wanted to know if any of you have had any problems with water leaks while parked facing up or downhill?

Zero problems so far.

Of course, it hasn't been out in the rain yet (we get that once or twice a year, around here). But a half dozen washes in the driveway (sloped) and no water issues anywhere inside the car.

The day I took delivery I had to drive 220 miles in the rain. No issues then or since. Tight as a drum.

Water sloshing in doors?

If you open a door and hear water sloshing around, you need to clean out the drain holes on the bottom of the door! Door interiors are one place where corrosion can get started quite quickly. If you don't check once in a while that the drain holes are cleaned out, debris can collect in the door bottom, holding rain water that dribbles through the weather stripping. The wet debris and water then begins to quickly rust out your doors. I check at least twice a year while I am detailing the door surrounds.

That's what I discovered too, but I couldn't figure out how in the world it was overfilling into my driver's footwell. I was able to see the water slowly draining out onto my doorsill, but there's no way for it to get over and into the footwell
