Congratulations! Guess what Monday is? 1/5 is last day of current Incentives and Promotions! You slip in under the wire. If by chance its not there Monday, (you) be there at the Dealership and lock in your $1250 and Ford Credit Promotional Finance rates! Who knows whats going to be up for 1/6?

Yeah it was funny I just text my salesman to ask about the car, and my next text was going to ask if I can finalize the paperwork tomorrow (more convenient for me than Monday anyway), so that I can lock in the rebates and rates...but now looks like I can just finalize WITH the car! :ford: Was hoping to do that, since I wasn't super comfortable finalizing without seeing the car (you never know what could be wrong once delivered!) :headbonk:

You mentioned swaping the grille for the corral grille, I want to do the same on my V6 is it much of a task or should the dealer do it?

I share your concern (but) worst case,if the Vehicle arrived damaged or in suspect condition, you could still "kill the deal" until you actually Register the Car, have its Title transferred and you drive off the Lot. Yeah, they would be hating it, lots of paper work to re-due (but) if they had to locate you a replacement through a Dealer Swap or even "re-order", they would do what they have to do. No one can make you "take delivery" of a Car that doesn`t meet or exceed your expectations. I`ve done it both ways, Car present and Car yet not arrived and to date, its worked out both ways in the past.

My biggest issue is even getting the right grill ordered from a parts department. I started a new thread a while back about doing this swap...see link below. I called two dealers parts departments and both were clueless on what I'd need to order. Worth asking your dealer though! I plan to swap it myself...should be pretty easy I'd think...

Thanks GiddyUp15 just checked your grille thread and saw the post by zackmd1 and that install is more than I want to attempt and cost looks like it would be well over $1000 if done by dealer.

Mine may be on the same train as well. It is on a train in Kentucky.
We may be on the same train but honestly I hope we are on different trains. If we are on the same one or the other of us will have to wait much longer. New orleans seems to be the end of the line for many of the routes as does Florida. Kentucky seems to be the spot where trains head more southwest or more south east. But hey, at least they are moving. On last trace mine had just left Danville, Kentucky.

About the tonneau caps...on another thread (or Forum?), a member got a message from Ford saying that they had pulled the manufacturing from the original maker and were transferring the tools to another company. Ford has back-ordered the missing caps and hopes to start shipping them out in March.

MAKO_254...is your second foto really Magnetic in color? I have been downloading every foto I can find of Magnetic convertibles. The second foto is auto-labeled Magnetic-with top down. To my eyes, that car looks like Ingot! Several people (including me) have mentioned that Magnetic seems to be a chameleon...changing colors every time light changes. Which is why I changed my order at the last minute from TY to Magnetic.

That second photo looks like the preproduction model Ford used for the unveiling which is indeed Magnetic. Ingot doesn't really shine/reflect like that whereas Magnetic pops under the lights. Same reason I switched to magnetic

I think your correct. My Dealer emailed me today and confirmed that my long awaited Vehicle is in fact passing through Kentucky. I believe that is where our Car Carriers will be put with different Locomotive Crews to haul the Cars to their respective new homes. Since UPS has their Air Hub Terminal in Louisville, I assume it also must be home to a massive Rail Yard too.
PS: I just spoke to a Veteran CSX Railway Man and he informed me that it is possible that some Car Carrier Rail Cars could be switched at a Yard in Kentucky, more likely, the switch would occur in Memphis, TN which has one of if not the largest Rail Yards in the Nation. He claims that a huge majority of North-South-East-West Rail Traffic passes through River City.

I found that photo on this site. And yes, that is Magnetic.

The first Fastback I laid my eyes on was Magnetic. It was delivered to Performance Ford in Charlotte a Day before I arrive there and I saw it at night. Judging from the pics I have seen of Ingot, there is a very clear difference between Magnetic and Ingot.

Additional info...My Bro has a grey ("Sterling"?) 2014 (or 2013) Fusion that we drove there. The Magnetic was slightly darker than his Fusion.
