Have any converts gone into production? Thought they were supposed to start mid-Oct, but I have heard nothing.

This is entirely hearsay from an inventory manager at a local dealership, so take with a grain of salt... But he said after Christmas for production to start on the verts.

My local Ford Dealer informed me that Retail Orders for Base V6 Convertibles with Automatic Transmission will begin to be pulled for Scheduling beginning on Thur Oct 30th. Of course, like usual, "Subject To Change".

hmmmm....still trying to decide when to order mine. Tempting to do it now and have a chance at getting it before Christmas, but I doubt it since transit will take forever to get to CO. I should just wait it out and order in December as I planned, in hopes for it to arrive in February/March time frame.

Yesterday I built a EB Premium Vert very well equipped performance pack auto adaptive cruise 201a etc... no holds. I was under the impression that the cars would be in production by now. I have not been paying as much attention to the verts as I was on the coupes simply because I've been delivering and ordering coupes lately. I do believe that Convertibles have a seperate OK to buy to achieve along with the standard QC. If any other dealers know anything please chime in.

about 20 days after build, I won't hold my breath.

I can't pull a window sticker yet, nor is order tracking by VIN or order/dealer number working. I know there is a light at the end of The tunnel, just enjoy the info to see progress.
