Holy Crap! You ordered your 2015 Mustang Convertible only (2) days after me and my Vehicle was built on 11/25 but I finally got it on 1/10. Mine stayed in storage in their (overflow) lot for 4 weeks before being shipped out on 12/27. Odd, we both finally got our Cars just 2 weeks apart. My CO Premium Vert is here! Picked her up yesterday. Ordered 9/4; built 1/5; and delivered 1/14. Picked her up yesterday. Much more refined than my 2011. Very quiet and smooth riding. Manual seems to shift fine so far. I hadn't driven a manual for 8 years but you never forget how. All panels seem to fit well. Still trying to get the seat in the right place. Interior is beautiful with the black. Lots of new toys on it to learn compared to the 2011. Don't know how to post pictures but mine was the first vert at my dealer and they posted a picture on their Facebook page. L.B.Smith Ford. Ford definitely hit a homerun with this car.
Believe me, it was like my Car entered FRAP`s "Twilight Zone" for 5 weeks with no sign of movement. It was frustrating beyond words to see others Post that their Cars were built one day and released for shipping and transport the same day or the very next day and my Vehicle simply slipped into a "black hole" in space and no one could provide an explanation of what happened to cause the delay? 2 days after Christmas I checked COTUS out of curiosity and low and behold, my Car was finally released for shipping and was in Transit! On the Rails it was and it arrived in perfect condition 2 weeks later, late on Fri evening 1/9, go figure. Perfect Convertible weather in Jan & Feb too!I enjoy reading your posts. It was tough enough waiting for my car to finally be scheduled. Can't imagine waiting as long as you had to after yours was built. My EDD was 1/25 but kept moving up. I knew it had arrived before my dealer did! Wish I were in Florida where there isn't snow.
Did you ever receive your tonneau caps? I haven't.I`m a bit disturbed that it appears that no one who has recently taken delivery of their 2015 Mustang Convertibles have had the Side Tonneau Covers in the Trunk? Rumors are they had a last minute Vendor/Manufacturer switch? Hopefully they will be shipped directly to Buyers in March or sooner when they are finally available. This Convertible will look raw and totally unfinished with those Side Covers missing (Left & Right) when the Top is down!
