Never used mine. Too many stories about rubbing through the roof material.

Yes, I think I will pass. Originally thought they added extra protection to the mechanism, but I do not think it worthwhile to risk damage to the roof material.

The possibility of damage to the top is my concern also with having the cloth top option.
Would have been good if Ford could have had a top boot cover like previous generation Mustangs.
