Yes, I think I will pass. Originally thought they added extra protection to the mechanism, but I do not think it worthwhile to risk damage to the roof material.

Called them and they essentially told me given my route (North to South instead of East/West) they wouldn't take my business xD. I guess it makes sense to be upfront. They did recommend Intercity and Passport as alternatives.
