I recently bought Chemical Guys cleaner and conditioner. I Have about 1100 miles on my car and was going to clean and condition them, but after reading some other post I've heard that the leather is sealed and does not need conditioning? Honestly I'd rather not condition them anyway because I don't want a greasy slick look to them, add you always miss spots so you get those random dry spots. Should I just clean them? Is the leather really sealed or coated where the conditioner won't do much other then shine up the exterior?

Not all conditioners make it slick and greasy, in fact the good ones do not. I use zaino and it darkens the leather but is more of a moisturizer to prevent cracking than anything else. You should always use stuff like this sparingly as well.

Also forgot to mention dont use silicone anything on anything on or in your car. It attracts dust and you cannot get it off without scraping it off. If you dont continually use it the silicone will also dry out and crack the material.

I used a silicone tire shine once and it looked amazing. But then it slinged. It could not be cleaned off ever and was a sludgy mess in the tires letters and those tires dry rotted in under 20k miles.

Put a drop of water on your leather and see if it absorbs into it or it just stays on the surface. If it just sits on the surface then the leather is coated, which will not absorb any type of conditioner. Some argue the perforations, stitches and micro cracks will absorb the conditioner and while that is true to an extent it's not going to make that much of a difference. Just use a cleaner that's safe for coated (Type P leather) leather and maybe a UV protectant on top such as 303.

I've thought about 303, does that leave any residue or shine? I want to keep the flat look. I also notice 303 comes in 2 varieties cleaner and protectant, but I've heard some say that the cleaner leaves no residue while the protectant does leave some. Does the cleaner have any UV protectant in it, so I could just use that?

Used 303 on my boat seats. Kept them looking like new. Even up to the time I sold it 7 years later. It got a lot of sun exposure.
