Competition orange stripe colors

I feel sometime in the future I'd like to add a stripe to shake things up a bit. I don't think I want black though...but I am having a hard time thinking of any other color that would look good on an orange s550.

Thoughts?

I was thinking maaaaaaybe purple of some shade/hue/whatever.

One suggestion could be to look at sports teams with orange in the uniform to see what "professional" designers think looks the "best"

I am having the exact same challenge.
Looked up orange color sports teams, and the option seems to be either white or dark blue / navy blue...
not sure how aggressive white stripes would look...

If you like the dark purple, you could always do black stripes and a purple pinstripe on the outside of each. One matte, one gloss maybe? That way it's definitely different!

Or bronze/gold. Black or carbon fiber are the safe bets, as is white.

hell no then that's clemson colors

i saw one at mustang week with satin black stripes with metallic silver pin stripe on outside of the stripes. it looked good but imo CO looks better with no stripes.

LOL... thats one reason I didn't get a CO Mustang. I live right down the road from Clemson and didn't want to hear all the crap about it.
