To me, CO just seems to be a lighter Race Red.

Kind of up in the air about which one I like best.

Competition orange is orange...there's a 2012 Boss 302 at the Washington PA dealership, they're two completely different colors and it's a legit orange when viewed in person. Race Red is actually very similar to a guitar paint color that Fender uses which is called Fiesta Red....it's a retro color from the 60s which sort of has an orangey tomato soup color to it; ironically I have a Fender Mustang guitar in this color, it's gorgeous like Race Red...literally the only red that I've ever liked on anything.

I saw this previous gen Mustang in a parking lot, does anyone know what color code is this? It looked amazing and I think this should be the orange on S550.

While that is partly the case, it's also pretty well known that Competition Orange can photograph looking red.

Marlboro race cars used orange, not red paint to ensure the colour looked right on TV broadcast. Do with that tidbit, what you will.

Love the Fender guitar reference. Now I just wish Ford would offer a Mustang in the correct colour of Sonic Blue.

I think CO was the better choice on the new body style IMHO. Like others have said it really does not photograph properly but when it does it (or when you see it in person) it looks awesome. Like this one....

I guess I'll have to wait and see this color (and others) in person and then decide which one to buy.
