Comp cams?

Looking to cam my s550. The only cams I see are comps. Looking for opinions on theirs. What's power gain at what rpm? How did the install go? Did you yank the engine? Also a video on how it sounds please. Thanks.

I have an Uncle who has a friend that worked with a guy that had a Tuner that had a friend that did cams with the GT350 IM, His results are coming soon. :frusty:

My guess is the numbers aren't worth showing so we never see them...

people doing cams are usually doing more mods at the same time

we did gt350 heads and cams and turned the boost up at the same time,

if your going to the trouble to do cams, your usually working on some other things at the same time.

We have a killer buy going on them right now for those looking

Maybe so but who is going to buy them if we have no idea if they are even worth the time and money... I am talking for NA builds...

If I remember the S197 Comp Cams weren’t all that impressive… well not for what it cost anyway.

if you want cheap

blower, and be done

or go crazy like us and blower, cams, heads, etc...

There were more than 1 or 2 485+ WHP N/A cam'd S197 5.0's..

Do they offer the gains of a blower? No..but even 25-30 WHP makes the difference between 475WHP and 500+

I'd like to buy them from you guys, but that's a project I don't know if I'd want to tackle myself. I did heads and a cam in a Pontiac I had a few years ago, but this looks like it's much more involved, unless I'm overshooting it.
