Have not seen or tried it yet but over the years, Colgan has had the best bra's available.

Has anyone bought one of these for their performance package?: http://www.cjponyparts.com/colgan-custom-front-end-cover-carbon-fiber-style-without-plate-hole-performance-package-gt-2015-2016/p/BRA24/

I was looking at this today as I could use a bra for long road trips (which I take quite a few throughout the year). However, I couldn't find any other reviews other that the one on CJ Pony Parts. Any opinions would be much appreciated.

Thanks
I purchased one because I was trying to get away from paying $750 for a clear bra. Unfortunately, I had to return it because my hood would not close after several attempts and I did not want to adjust the latch or hood bumpers. I would rather put that money in an exhaust but if you have the money it's the way to go because IMO it really takes away from the looks of the car. Also, you will have to take it off each time you wash the car.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I think I'm gonna buy one and try it out.

I'm not too concerned with taking away from the looks as I only plan on using it for long trips, so it will be off the car most of the time. Quite pricey for the limited use, but I've already done all the mods I plan anyway (maybe... ). It's hard to stop spending money on this car!

I was also concerned with the open bottom, but the exposed area looks minimal. Plus, the only other that I found that says it fits PP this one: http://www.mustangdepot.com/OLC4/Accessories/mask.htm. There's no info about it on the site though, so I figured since it's the same price as the Colgan model, I thought it best to play it safe.

Just ordered a Colgan for my Ecoboost PP

I agree. I must say I really hate these things... I looked into the clear paint protection film and a local shop quoted me $550. Not bad, but I hate to glue more stuff to the car. I know this can be removed, etc, but it still does not convince me.

On the other hand I have an 1,800 mile trip coming up, freeway and more freeway. So I thought I would get one of these horrible things for long trips as well, get there, take it off, put it back on for the trip back.

The Colgan seemed the least of a couple of evils, due to the way it installs, and the track record of quality, so it seems worth the price (got it for$179 at CJ Pony parts)

If nothing else, it will get my mind of of all the trucks and stuff while I hit the road. Will report back.

(at least the fit seems nice and tight, so that helps)

Why would you put a leather bra on your car it's 2016...get the Novi stretch

Use the disc code prob even cheaper

Probably because that doesn't cover around the headlights or front few inches of the hood, which get chips. Don't care about bugs, care about chips.

Colgan bra, actually looks nice...

Ok, in anticipation of my coming 1,800 mile trip, I bought one of these things... mind you, I bought this strictly for any long trips.

Installation took about 10 minutes. This thing is perfectly designed, it does fit like a glove. This also means the first time you do it, it takes a bit of effort to stretch it, but not too bad. It helps if the material is warm.

Once done, I was actually surprised that my Race Red beauty did not look too, well, dorky :) I still plan to take this off once I get there, but it does look sharp, it is well secured and does not seem to affect the car's shape. The fake carbon fibber print looks nice on the vinyl.

Let's see how it handles on the road. I don't expect any issues, and if it saves me from a few rock pits and a ton of dead bugs, it may be worth it.

Maybe I'm just old school. But I like it. Used to get them on all of my cars, back in the day.
Was thinking about getting one for a couple trips coming up.

I just ordered this one for long trips: http://www.americanmuscle.com/covercraft-lebra-1516.html

A little cheaper than the Colgan... will see how it works out.
You might want to double-check your order. Your signature says you have the performance package, but that bra doesn't fit the performance package, only the base Mustang. Look under the "Will it fit my Mustang" section of the site; this is where it says it will not fit.

Yeah, noticed that when I received it... guess I'll be getting a Colgan :)
