For 2 years I have had an issue with my 2015 Mustang GT with the track pack going into limp mode at the track. I finally was able to pull a code P2112. I have searched and it sounds like either the TPS or the throttle plate motor is the problem but I have not really been able to find a definitive problem. I will likely just replace the entire Throttle Body. Anyone else get this code and if so, what was the cure?

BTW, this issue woud always occur when blipping the throttle to down shift under braking.

This specific Ford FSA/TSB calls out the exact error code you have (*see “Reason for this Program” on doc) - but I don’t see a specific reference to the 2015 Mustang, seems it was not covered in the TSB.

The Ford fix is to replace entire TB.

You can also go here and run your VIN to see if your vehicle has any open recalls or FSA’s:

Thanks for that. I would assume this is what has happened to mine. I have found a new take off TB for a good deal so I will buy and install that one.
