Ok I'm very close to pulling the trigger I the Accessport. I had the sct and sold it. I have 2 or 3 questions for anyone who has one.
1. One of the install videos I saw on CJ pony parts, they say to plug into a battery charger for the car? Is this really necessary?
2. I'm going with Adam at tune + but when I first get the tuner, if I just want to load the off the shelf tune to try it out, will that mess anything up with me going with Adam a couple weeks later?
3. Ok so with the sct when you do tune revisions and data logging there are 2 different computer programs you download to do this. One being live wire for logging and one is SCT. Does it work the same way with Cobb? Do you data log, then load it on the computer, then email to Adam and he does revisions and emails back?
Thank you for any details and last thing, when I talked to Adam he gave me a specific part number for my Accessport to buy. Is this because it's specific for the ford car and do all of these come with the Cobb off the shelf tune automatically?
