I recently had a random failure of the data logging function of my AP V3.
The device worked perfectly other than when I pushed the button to log, the device would act as off I turned the car off and begin power save shutdown mode.
I went through some self diagnostics and then called Cobb. They gave me some simple tricks to try and when that didn't work they took care of me.
I have a new AP enroute Next Day Air
I don't think this is a widespread issue so no need to worry about your AP throwing a tantrum, I just wanted everyone to know that this was the most painless and fulfilling customer service experience (when something has gone wrong) I have had with an aftermarket company thus far.
Much thanks to Ian who checked in on FB to lend some ideas, and to Charles for getting it done over the phone.
