Partially, but IF you have greater access to the ECU the limitation can be handled with.
You can overcome a physical restriction, like a fuel pump that cannot provide the proper volume, with your tune?
I didn't use "overcome", but we have on the Mustang just like on ALL of the other EB's we have handled it.

The Mustang is NOT the only one that runs into this crazy HPFP brickwall.

Fusion 225/285 Tuned
SHO 365/390 Tuned
XSport 365/390 Tuned
FiST 205/278 Tuned
FoST 246/359 Tuned

All of these numbers are wheel power #'s on our tune, and all suffer from the EXACT SAME thing.

Ok, so these are peak numbers. There is probably enough fuel to support a peak safely, but there has to be a power taper of some sort to maintain enough flow to not lean the car out. The pump simply cannot keep up. I am not doubting that you have found a way to make power and enable the engine to live, but there has to be some kind of compromise in order to do it.

Supposedly Ford and Full-Race are working hand in hand on the fuel system so and upgrade will be coming.

There are actually a few things that we can tinker with to make the system push a bit past 100% of what the ECU's logic says it can do safely.

Can you data log with your setup?
About data logging. I don't have a tuner yet. I will soon. Probably Livernois. However for the time being I have a bluetooth OBDII adapter and an andoid app that allows me to data log. I paid $99 for the adapter and I think $6 for the app. You can make your own custom gauge displays. I have a 7" tablet I use. Just throwing it out there.

The problem with setups like that is that the info that you are looking at is wildly inaccurate! The PID's and sample rates on the EB systems are VERY bad with systems like that. You need to have specific tuner suite software hooked up to a laptop taking LIVE info as it is sent from ECU to motor. NOT ECU to motor to OBDii.

Can WE, yes.
But WE can't, right? So, it is basically a test of faith. We can't see the data, and if we access it...you will assert it is corrupt and unreliable because the consumer does not have access to the OEM level hardware you do? Meanwhile, you are all over the board telling everyone how your systems are so much more advanced than every other system available and that you have worked around every known issue. You even have guys like Anthony, who does not even own an EcoBoost Mustang, who come here and prop you up. I find it disingenuous.

I am at a personal crossroads. I don't trust this platform. I am 100% honest when I state that I bought this car because YOU ran an 11.8 with yours, on a tune and a tire. I figured that was the tip of the iceburg and we would see low 11's come and go, then the 10's....on a stock engine. What I did not realize, and what many here probably don't realize, was that that was not the tip..that was, for all intents and purposes, the whole freaking thing. Without seriously bolstering the strength of this platform, those results are not going to be repeatable with any ease. And, they were done with a kill tune on one of VP's leanest burning, most volatile unleaded fuels. There is reason why you have rods and pistons, as well as shortblocks and longblocks, in the pipeline. I want to see a repeatable, safe tune and tire car that can run 11's like you did with a stock longblock.

It is not going to happen.

I'm with you to an extent. I feel like it will still be able to be accomplished. We have cooling issues, fueling issues, and turbo size issues. So far, nothing has been tested on the internals (that we know of), so we don't know exactly what will come of it. I don't believe anyone has pushed the Focus ST to the internals limits yet, and they've been getting to 400FWHP with meth and a turbo upgrade. edit: http://www.atpturbo.com/root/releases/images/release060213/2013focus_gt3071r.gif there is a Focus ST with a turbo kit, bolt ons, and meth. With a time slip.

The cooling and fueling issues can be taken care of with a meth kit and intercooler (which Mishimoto is implementing a meth spigot at the outlet of their intercooler), the turbo size issue will be taken of by different companies (we know that full race will be offering one, as well as ATP will probably get on board as well). The car has barely been out 4 months, if that. Give it time. Most of the country isn't even in weather where you can track them.
