I was driving home from work yesterday and suddenly felt a vibration in the clutch pedal when I went to push it in and downshift. It has been doing it ever since and I'm wondering what may have changed so suddenly. I can only feel it when the pedal is all the way out. As soon as I depress it a little, the vibration goes away. The car drives and shifts like it always has with no issues. I can feel it while sitting at idle and if I place my foot on the pedal while driving. The other weird thing is that if I take my foot and pull the pedal up like half an inch it stops. Any ideas what could be happening? Some info on the car, it's a 2015 EB with 72K miles and is tuned and lightly modded. I don't beat the crap out of the car, but do enjoy some spirited driving from time to time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A couple other notes: Not sure it matters, but I did my clutch assist springs many miles ago. If I had to describe the vibrations that best thing I can equate it to is the feeling of the ABS when stopping on a slick surface, if that makes sense.

Sounds like the clutch disc is possibly showing signs of either premature failure or uneven wear. The only other thing that would cause vibes like that would be a warped pressure plate, damaged fingers on pressure plate or flywheel (*more rare to warp a flywheel than pressure plate).

Some folks have posted in prior MT82 threads of factory clutch discs coming apart (shedding of clutch material) or the rivets on the factory pressure plate failing or being sheared off.

I appreciate the insight, that's what I was afraid of. If this is the case, I'm assuming a clutch replacement would be in order?
