Clutch pedal replacement?

The other day as I was shifting from 1st to 2nd the clutch spring assist perch popped out from the clutch pedal. After taking a look at it I saw that the part that the perch/spring attaches to on the pedal snapped off. I was wondering if anyone had ever had their clutch pedal replaced? And if so how much was the repair?

Happened to me last year. Honestly the feel of the pedal felt better so I never replaced it but I did inquire at a dealer and they wanted about $1400 for whole pedal assembly.
