Most of my suspension noises are gone but I'm still now getting lots of clunks when I am backing up and turning the steering wheel. Any ideas? My suspicions lead me to the diff bushings. I have the black urethane Steeda bushing lockout kit installed on my car. It mostly happens when I am backing up and turning the wheel and my car encounters any small bumps, sometimes even on flat surface too. Only in reverse is it bad. My other suspicion is the billet shock mounts.

The issue was not apparent until sometime after the RLCA and diff bushing install.

My full list of aftermarket parts:

Steeda RLCA bearing
Steeda black urethane diff lockout
Steeda shock mounts
BMR sway bars
BMR vertical links TCA045
BMR toe rods
BMR CB005
Ford Racing springs and shocks
Ford Racing strut tower / k brace
MM CC plates

Check the torque on your axle to hub nuts too.

I retorque every bolt on the IRS and the axle nut. The one I think that stop the noise was the inner bolt (next to the exhaust) of the lower control arm. None of the bolts in our IRS is at torque specs.
