I'll have to drive again to make sure if it's more than just 1st and 2nd. I'm sorta getting used to it, or else I could have answered you lol.I don't think you should have any clunk when not moving. But we can ignore that for now.
when you are moving, does the clunk happen in every gear or just 1st-2nd?
I suggest you show up at a Ford dealership in something other than your Mustang, and test drive a brand new PP. If its significantly different, then you probably have an issue.
Could this be a linkage issue? Like I said, when i put it in gear slowly, when I'm stationary, no clunk. By all means, I'm definitely not slamming gears.....I didn't intend on racing or taking it to the track when i bought it. Could it be a sloppy driveshaft?
I also forgot to mention I bought it with 2200 miles on it.
