Old Asian guy decides to skip the suicide lane and stop in the middle of my lane while waiting to turn left. No headlight on his bicycle, and if it wasn't for me looking ahead and seeing a hint of his neon hulk green metallic bike, they would have been picking his remains off the front of my car.

It is somewhat uncommon in Russia to eat or drink inside the car. Most of them are wondering why there are so many cup holders inside the car.
It's probably mostly in US you can see in the morning guys/girls eating burgers and drinking Starbucks while they drive :)

The most common scenario in Russia would be the road rage when somebody is not letting to pass :)

Nice twink skinny jeans and 80lbs when wet physique to start a fight on the street.

This dick bag cuts me off (even thought it may not appear to by the wide angle lens) and i get into road rage mode and decide to pass him and the semi truck before an exit that's coming up... and well...

Ended up missing my exit because he scared the piss out of me
That wasn't even cutting you off. Can't believe you went into a rage over something so small.

Damn! How'd you even see him? I knew it was coming and still couldn't see him until it would've been too late.

Caught a sparkle from his metallic bike while I happened to be looking far ahead (which is a good driving habit to have, and I'm the first one to admit I don't do this enough)

Here's my contribution: got cut off by an a*hole in a minivan and momentarily blinded while driving in the aftermath of a snow storm. I was in the leftmost lane because all other lanes were barely doing 45, and the left lane was doing 55 or so.

What is the actual meaning of getting "cut off" because I get the feeling people just can't stand someone overtaking you on the other lane and then driving in front of you, even if there is plenty of space.

Over here you are "forced" to keep the right most lane whenever possible meaning there is a lot of lane changing and getting in front of people so maybe it's a tolerance thing.

If there is no braking or slowing down needed after someone pulls in front of you there is no harm done right ?

I don't think most of these guys know what cut off means. In the last 2 videos the passer was going faster and had plenty of room.

Usually cut-off means people merge in front of a moving vehicle without enough distance or not accelerating fast enough causing the vehicle behind it to slow down or stop.

On a normal day when it was dry, this would have been fine. A little aggressive, but heck, I've been worse. On this day, under these conditions, this was a very dangerous move. There had been freezing rain earlier in the day, followed by a few inches of snow. It was very, very slick and I saw a number of crashes on my way home. Given how fast the minivan was going and how abruptly he changed lanes, he could have very easily lost control and caused me to crash into him as I would not have been able to stop in time.

It's the law here in Utah to stay out of the left lane or at least yield to faster traffic, but no one does it (and the cops even did a PSA campaign where they pulled people over to educate them). And yeah, half of these aren't being "cut off" but that minivan pulling in front of him in that weather was stupid both for loss of control risk, and the fact that he blinded the driver behind him. You just don't drive that close in snow. But again, here in Utah, idiots do the same thing. Especially if they're driving SUVs or trucks. First real snow we had, I passed 7 accidents in the morning. All but one of them consisted of SUVs and trucks. The other was an SUV and a car. :p

i have to agree that the van did not "cut you off" per se, but it was definitely a dangerous lane change given the conditions at the time.

he seems to be a great candidate for the darwin award, given that he started tailgating the guy in front of him after he merged into the passing lane.

I'll join in on the fun, yesterday below someone decides to just turn left in front of me and then some pedestrians decide to run across a 4 lane road in front of me.
