I’m in need of a little help as im trying to install the clock spring through kit, and I connected all the wires the first time and the trans-brake and scramble were always active now and I’m going to assume because of the ground and the power going to the button completing the circuit. Is there any way to overcome this issue or have any insight on doing a different way. This is the wiring diagram that I made to have a fresh start, so if anyone could guide me to complete the diagram I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m no wiring expert and I. Actually really opposed to doing wiring stuff. The second photo is the way it was originally wired with the hanging cables from the button and having it that way worked fine.

Man I'm looking for the same kit. I'm trying to find a way to install scramble switch using this kit without having those wounded wires around the steering wheel, but I don't think it will ever work since I need to wire it to the boost controller.

How is that would work? How are you able to connect the buttons to the boost controller through the steering wheel connection with that kit?

Not Sure what Boost controller you have but I drew up this diagram. It gets most of the wiring down except which pins you have to remove and place the ones that are supplied when you purchase the clock spring kit. You'd have to look at the instructions provided by them for that since I cant draw that up. If you have any further questions let me know. Sorry for the crappy diagram made it on windows paint lol.

That's a great diagram thank you so much!
But I'm not sure how those wire from the module connects to the boost controller from the steering wheel all the way to the controller without getting twisted when you turn the steering wheel?

Am I missing something or not seeing something?

From your diagram is gonna be the red & gray wires that coms out the module

That's what the (S550 Mustang 2015+ Clock Spring Pass through Kit) from thegaugemount.com
takes care of. They have good and informative instructions on how to do the pass through. To answer your question it uses pins on the connector behind the airbag which then plugs in and passes through the clock spring. Which then goes behind and under your steering wheel which is where the Interface from them as well comes into play and ties into your boost controller and Wot Box.

Thank you so much, I looked everywhere to hide that ugly wounded wires that always there with scramble switch. I came across thegaugemount. Com but couldn't find answer to my question & I emailed them they never responded.
Noticed their note "This kit will work on all 2015+ S550 cars, but on vehicles with heated steering wheel, it currently requires disconnecting this feature. "

I was trying to reach also to see if they have another kit or something for the heater to be connected since they said" currently " & not sure how long that " currently " was in there.

Thank you!

Yeah I personally hated having the exposed wires and tangling while trying to make sharp turns etc. As far as them not responding its understandable, its a 1 man operation. He's a car enthusiast like us that saw that problem and made a way to fix it all himself. And yes that is correct that's the only way to make the pass through by deleting the heated steering wheel feature, since that's the two pins that it replaces with your button wires. For me it wasn't a huge deal since I'm from Texas where cold weather isn't that bad, I could see the hesitance if your from the north. As right now no one else makes another kit that will keep the heated steering wheel feature, and doubt that will ever happen, since I'm sure the other pins in the connector are far more important and needed than the heated steering wheel feature. But I got to say its highly worth doing it, made driving the car around town far more enjoyable and far less annoying having to deal with the tangling wires at every turn.

Thank you man, I'm from Dallas TX lol just never had heated steering wheel before & I first tired them couple weeks ago when it was super cold here & love them lol. But yah not worth having wires exposed & move around.
In that case I start looking for different steering wheel now to have that installed on, plenty of options since I'm no longer looking for heated one... Still looking.

Oh yah didn't know it's 1 person there, how long did it took to be delivered to u?

Within a week just make sure you order that Interface module if you need a scramble and bump button as well!

I’m so lost. I’m still try to figure out how to connect this up. I have the 6stager,the interface and boost leash. Do I use the wires that I had for the other buttons.
