Sub'd. Can't ignore a twin that's only a hundred miles away!

nsquared - you gonna take it to the track? There's an SCCA track night at Thunderhill on April 14, only $125 for three 20-min sessions.

Here's mine;

I wanna try SCCA, absolutely. Where is Thunderhill?

Are the sportlines lower the the pro kits?

Love the spacers man and the seats. Super good looking bro.

Thanks, bud, appreciate! It will be interesting to see our rides diverge as we do different mods...

Sportlines sit about a half inch lower than Pro-Kit, which honestly is too low - I just got excited last Black Friday before I had time to do much research. I think the car needs a bit more suspension travel than what I have now, and linear rate springs, with matching heavier damping on the shocks. I'll rock my current setup for the rest of the year, then this winter probably do heavier sways, FRPP shocks, and the BMR Handling springs.

FYI - here's a spring rate comparison (lbs/in, F/R) of some popular choices;

GT: 160 / 668
GT PP: 165 / 728
BMR Performance: 170 / 740 (3% / 1.5%)
BMR Handling: 300 / 980 (82% / 35%)
CJPP: 182-217 / 799
Pro-kit: 200-314 / 800-914
Sportline: 217-331 / 879-994

So your Pro-Kit is just a bit lighter than my Sportlines in spring rate, but sits a bit taller, so you will have more spring movement before you hit bump stops. I'm basically sitting on my bumpstops all the time now. I don't DD the car, so I can try some weird stuff, like cambered-out alignment, no toe-in, stiff suspension, etc, without worrying too much about annoying myself.

And BTW, the flush look is awesome (from spacers or different offset wheels), but the front tires do throw stuff at the front of the back quarter panels, and you'll see white pits / sandblasting. But I'm too car-vain to put silly mudflaps on or go back to the sunken-in stock look...

Thunderhill is in Willows, straight up the 5 (http://www.thunderhill.com/location/)

So I gotta ask, do you live in the City? How is it like driving a manual up n down those hilly streets? My clutch hated me the last time I drove to SF but its a POS

Born and raised in San Francisco, but my residence is in San Mateo. Also, my mustang and I are in Salt Lake City, Utah currently.
