Clear Coated Vinyl Stripes

I've been looking at possible mods to make my new Mustang my own. In my many nights of searching I thought I found some Super Snake style stripes that were clear-coated. Now I can't find them. Anybody know where I can find them again?

Do you mean gloss vinyl stripes? You can't have clear coat on the stripes before they're installed.

Yes, I am looking at the gloss black. It's a Velocity Blue GT/CS convertible and I think the gloss will go well with the hood vents and wheels.

Or you can find some vinyl and knifeless tape and make your own stripes. It's pretty easy and you can make them as wide or skinny as you like. Metrostyling is a good source for vinyl and supplies. I've put stripes on 3 cars now. Take your time and get good measurements and its not hard at all.

I've never put stripes on a car before but I think I can do it. I wish there was a direct fit "kit" for my car but there isn't. No one seems to have a kit for a California Special.

I did contact Big Worm and they would be able to send me a kit for a car without a rear spoiler and I'll have to "trim to fit" which I think will involve taking off the rear spoiler because the center pedestal on the CS spoiler will be right in the middle of the super snake stripe. I could make it easier on myself if I put the dual stripes (GT 350 style) on. The spoiler wouldn't have to come off for them. Sometimes I think I must hate myself

I just Googled 3M Super Snake stripes. Ordered them online. Had them installed locally.

Google 3M Super Snake stripes with rocker. American Muscle, Big Worm and Auto Graphics among many sell them. I hope this helps.
