Cheap LED's for your interior/exterior conversion

Is it annoying? Do you even notice the interior speed? Can't decide if I care enough to pull the trigger lol

Most people seem to not care. I'll be installing mine this weekend and let you know my initial experience. The resistors are like 5 bucks so it may be worth doing right the first time, however, I don't think I'll notice since I usually have my radio on.

Has anyone tried changing the light in the center armrest to an LED?

I had some bulbs left over, so I tried just before I stored the car for the winter.
Now my spring project is to fish the bulb housing out of the back of the armrest. :(

It's not bad, you get used to it quickly. I did it to my bike and it didn't bother me at all.

I just ordered the 1400 lumens reverse light with the diffuser on the tip, excited for its arrival. I will also take pics. Did anyone order the 1400 lumens one that Crowder posted? Wondering if the diffuser/magnifier on the bulb makes it better or worse.

I ordered it Saturday and it should arrive today or tomorrow. I have an LED back there already but it kinda sucks... hopefully this one will be brighter.

No it's pretty cool I think. Almost sounds like a galloping pony. I don't even notice it anymore

Do you have a pic of your completed switchback setup? Think I ordered the same switchbacks and 194 led side marker bulbs as you and wanted to get an idea of how it looks.....thanks

This looks close but hard to tell. How close does this match your dtrl/headlights in the real world?

Not close at all, unless ur 10+ feet away. The DRL have a yellow-ish hue to them (maybe due to the diffuser). The 5500K HIDs I run on my Escalade match the same color output on the Mustang's DRLs.

But I'm happy with the color match between the switchback and the factory LED fog.
