Hey everyone, I am just wondering how good is the paint quality on cervinis pre painted hoods? Anyone have any up close pictures of the paint with a light shined on it? Any orange peel? Good paint match?

I ordered a Gt-500 style hood.Sept 18 of last year. I had them paint match J-4 Deep Impact Blue and it was dead on. I had them paint top, bottom and vent in black and all was perfect. It took a while to get it but everything was packed well and in perfect shape.

I just installed mine from Cervinis through Lethal Performance. Mine is N6 Lightning blue. The hood fits almost perfectly. Paint quality is like a 7/10 in my opinion. As far as the match is concerned, pretty dang good considering my car is almost 10 years old and sits outside. There are definitely a lot of noticeable swirl marks in the clear. It’s likely very easily correctable if you have even the most minimal paint correction skills, but for

not sure why it cut my post off but here’s the entire thing:

It’s likely very easily correctable if you have even the most minimal paint correction skills, but for $2k you’d think the paint could be right, especially considering that it took 20 weeks to get! It also arrived with a huge gouge from what looks like forklifts puncturing the box. Fortunately it was on the underside of the hood (which is black). If I had to do it all over, I’d order it unpainted and find someone local to do it.

I would say that is an excellent paint match you got there.
