Ceramic Coating Intercooler

Not sure if this is the right thread to post on but was wondering if anyone has tried to ceramic coat their Intercooler. I'm running an open grill for more view on the Intercooler and it's hard to keep it clean from dirt and water stains along with rock chips. I was thinking of ceramic coating it but didn't know if that's a wise idea. Would you recommend and if so what ceramic coat did you use? TIA

I don't know if it would do much as far as bugs getting in there but I'm sure it would make it easier for pressure washing/washing it off though.
