The smoke issue is not because of catless. That has been stated in these forums 1000x over. It's the shitty PCV valve/breather box that Ford cheaped out on. Anyone pushing performance for their cars is automatically going to catch-can it and likely gut that thing anyway.

But no, that smoke issue will happen to those with OEM DP, catted aftermarket, and catless.
It happens more on aftermarket than OEM, because there are several reasons for the smoke. It's not just the PCV by the way

Well from what I hear most is the owners not minding the smell, but their wives and friends, I guess it makes your clothes smell. Again to each his own, and that's great you love taking the same parts on and off, I don't mind but just because isn't a reason good enough for me. Again my views
Aww, I wasn't shaming anyone if that's what it looked like. But just sayin there is a strong argument for each side. Which is why it's cool that they make it for both sides.

Read above ^ again, the smoke issue is more prelevent when you switch DP, not just the PCV

More prevalent maybe but I've heard it happen to all parties regardless. Any owner who cares about their car should address it no matter what DP you run.

It just scares me to gut it, if I'm not having any smoke. I am thinking about switching to a dual valve catch can. I'm running the mishi now

Did you ever see Adam's video? He shows how to get to it by way of removing the intake manifold and shows how to gut it. It's really pretty simple. Lemme dig up the link for you.

I went catless. Yea, it can stink and harm the atmosphere but my car is not a daily driver. It will see more track time than street time. If it were my daily driver I'd have gone with a catted one, but would want it to pass emissions, so I dont have to swap it out for smog time.

I don't think I was "taking mishi comments out of context" you can change oem cats in any state as they do wear out ! and yes you can buy high flow cats that pass emissions test I have two on a 93 mustang Cobra and it passes the snifer test. the snifer (Tail pipe probe ) that is no longer used in CA on 2000 and newer cars. The test now uses the OBD computer, no codes and it passes, still have a visual but like I said earlier it can be replaced with an aftermarket cat. so again why did I pay extra for cat that throws codes ?
