catless DP emission/inspection?

Hi, I am thinking about getting CP-E catless DP and wondering
if it will fail emission/inspection automatically no matter what.
I am located in TX.
when I look it up on the forum, I see multiple stuff.
some say it will and change it to stock before test or pay little more money and stuff
and also some people says emission would be okay but visual test might fail if they go in detail

and my set up would be
everything stock, no tune, upr dual catch can, stock exhaust

You cannot run catless without a tune for a few reasons. First is you'll get a CEL and second COT needs to beturned off in a tune. Without the cats the car will continue to dump fuel to cool the cats which are no longer present. If you have emission testing it won't pass for sure.

really? I thought we can run it without tune, at least that's what I saw... they said there would be no power gain but I can still run it.
and CPE also include 02 sensor thing so that people don't get CEL

This particular downpipe includes an o2 simulator which may or may not set off the CEL. Still doesn't address COT though. You could remove it come emission time but what are you hoping to gain by one of these?

Basically sound for now... something louder.and maybe little but of power gain later with tune?
