CarPro DLUX is a semi-permanent Wheel and Trim coating, ideal for addressing the various black, unpainted trims on the S550 Mustang.

The first step in the installation process involves cleaning the surfaces with APC followed by a wipe down with CarPro Eraser.

After 20min to allow the Eraser to evaporate, it's time to apply the coating. A few drops of DLUX are added to the provided suede applicator, a little go's a long way.

I also added it to the mirror housings, window trims, fog lamp surrounds and wiper surround.

For textured surfaces like these on the Mustang, a follow up wipe off is not required.

The transformation in this case is not spectacular owing to these trims being good shape before application. However they are deeper and richer than before.

Looking good. Do you know what the durability of the product supposed to be and follow-up to maintain it?

you could probably use carpro hydro2 foam as a maintenance product as well..

i find it lasts similarly to carpro elixir, just easier to use.. you literally spray it on, and rinse it off (if using a foam cannon), or if you're going to do a normal bucket wash, use hydro2 foam instead of your soap, and proceed normally. remember dont use in direct sun or on hot surfaces
