Carpet flap under drivers seat

Hi all

Has anyone had their carpet split to show a flap with the VIN number underneath the front of the drivers seat? It's just happened to me after less than three months with my car. My dealer is blaze and says the carpet just needs to be pushed back in place and it can be held down with double sided tape. That sounds woefully inadequate to me, even if it hides the problem.

Dues anyone have useful suggestions?

Yeah I have, i think they all do. I just pushed it back and haven't worried about it

I noticed it a couple of weeks in when doing my first interior clean.. haven't worried about it to be honest.

I haven't got mine yet but I've seen it mentioned several times so normal unfortunately. Doesn't look great from the pics I've seen.
