Carbon Fiber decklid

I’ve had two Anderson decklids shipped to me from a vendor and both of been cracked and broken in the exact same spot. Anyone else have issue getting one that didn’t have shipping damage?

What was the condition of the shipping boxes? It is possible that these boxes were on a pallet shipped from Anderson to your vendor. If the pallet took a hit all the products hit might have the same damage.

If the shipping boxes show no sign of damage then this may be on Anderson. Contact them directly and let them know. The is no excuse for packing damaged goods (I doubt they would).

Lol been there done that. Anderson does make it right but it sucks. They really need to package better.

the ford performance stuff they do comes so well packaged i have no clue why they dont do the same for their branded stuff.

Yes, any pics of the shipped boxes - and is there any packing materials in the box?

The first box looked a little beat up. The second box looked great. The part was foam wrapped and in a plastic sleeve that was bubble wrapped

i put it on my 500, then decided to put the stock one back on. Its perfect, dm me and i’ll look for it in my warehouse.

i also have a cf trunk i didnt use. This is the Anderson one not the ford performance

So looking at the images of the box and pics you posted - doesn't appear to be damaged by carrier or while in transit. My guess is - someone at Anderson isn't being careful when packing them OR I can't believe they're packing damaged parts - but who really knows....

It’s also possible these are shipped in bulk from Anderson to the vendor and then individually wrapped and shipped to the end user. That could put the onus on the vendor and not Anderson.

Yes this box looked great. The first one was ehhh this one looked great. But it had the exact same damage as the first one. I’m not sure if it’s happening from Anderson to the vendor or the vendor to me
