I use Harry's lap timer on my iPhone. The only drawback is I haven't yet found a phone mount that is stiff. I've tried four brands and they all vibrate. I may make my own adapter to a go-pro mount since those seem to be pretty robust.

I put the mic inside my trunk almost dead center and I have it covered in a thin layer of cheap foam to minimize the noise from it moving around. I think I'm going to move it closer to the license plate but still keep it inside the trunk for my next outing.

And no AutoBlip here. That's all me
Well you do an excellent job of getting to the throttle to blip it. I had some trouble with doing it so put on a larger gas pedal so next time out I'll see how much that helps. One thing I know is you have to be able to do it to get in and out of the corner faster. I'm able to do it ok on my 66. Not sure I'm techy enough to do video's as good as yours but will give it a shot. Thanks again.

My Current Setup

Camera - GoPro Hero5 Black
External Microphone - Insignia Omnidirectional Lapel Microphone
OBII Adapter - PLX Kiwi 3 Bluetooth OBII Adapter
Video Recording/Telemetry - Harry's Lap Timer
Video Post Production - RaceRender3 Ultimate Edition

Just tested this setup out this past week on one of my feeler laps at MSR Houston and it's good except for the audio. I mounted the mic right next to the GoPro on my back windshield and the wind noise is nuts.

The next day while dicking around with my buddy I mounted the mic outside the car clipped to the license plate and the wind noise is gone but I'm still getting some audio clipping. More than likely the mic vibrating against the plate.

Going to take @raiderjatt02 advice and put the mic in the trunk for next time.

Also, I bought Racerender before I knew that Harry's Lap Timer could import the video from my GoPro to my phone and do the telemetry overlay all in my Iphone. There's no need for me to post edit anything.
