As said, turn off TC. Don't just press the button once. Press and hold the button (several seconds) until it says the advanced traction control is disabled. It's like "advanced trak off" I see it every day but can't, for the life of me, remember exactly what it reads. This makes a noticeable difference, at least for me. It goes from feeling meh to feeling like the car is gliding.

Also, don't try to go WOT from idle or just above idle. Judge it from at least 2500 rpm.

The OP needs a 10R80 upgrade. Jus' sayin' :sunglasses:

Edited to add: I can't believe I just posted to a thread with "...seems like in boys in first" in the title.

Sorry new to s550 been driving a 92 gt for the past 8 years.
That explains it.

It’s just the sensation of an electronic throttle body and traction control. Both make the car feel neutered at low RPM.. shutting advanced trac totally off helps, but the electronic throttle body won’t ever feel like a cable operated throttle.

No car thread should ever contain the phrase "in boys", hell that might even be illegal. You may want to either delete or edit this thread before the FBI catches on.

And that's why the EcoBoost is king of part throttle roll racing and grocery store parking lot showdowns:crackup:.
Come on guys. Part/half throttle is so out dated. The new "in boys in first" race is 3/4 throttle plus 1%. I really want to know which car is fastest in those conditions, 67 degrees with 85% humidity at 11:23am. All other comparisons are useless.

Back to the OP, the way that "traction control" works is to cut engine power to stop wheel spin. This can be somewhat disconcerting if you are not accustomed to it. As others have said, the throttle input is controlled by all kinds of algorithms and are not instantaneous response like the older cable driven systems. You will get used to it, but will probably never love it. :sunglasses:

To help the OP, I am assuming it should have read "it bogs in first". Autocorrect/voice recognition is a bitch. :)
