I'm in the same situation minus the convertible top. After some research I recently purchased the weather shield HD from http://www.the-cover-store.com/car-covers/
Make sure you clean your car before putting any covers on. Dirty cars = Dirty Car Covers. Dirty car covers causes scratches in your clear when moving the cover on and off the car.

well I got a cer craft weather shield HP cover from CJ Pony parts with the 50 year logo for my car it hurt price wise but after looking at all my options this one gave me the best bang for my buck and a 4 years warranty so lets see if it hold true to what they say

I used a California Car Cover for my 2007 Mustang when I had to park it outside in Arizona. So no snow experience. I can say that there were some very intense dust/rain storms and with the cable tied/locked around the bottom it never flew up and always kept the car relatively clean.

It has a very nice soft lining so the it kept the paint nice with a strong exterior.

Still have it actually. lol
