I have a bra for my clubbie, have to make time to fit for run days and travelling as you do need to fit after washing only. The trouble is if you go away for a couple of days and it rains, you are advised to remove to avoid damage to paint, so not much use unless you want to go wash you car again and have bra dried out.
I have gone a bought some clear coat film for my pony.

Yellow GT, wait for a hot sunny day.

Leave the Stang and the bra in the sun.

The bra will stretch when it is hot for a nice fit. We hope!!
Yeah, on Saturday, I finally bother to read the instruction, which mentioned something about that, AFTER my mate and I forcefully stretch it to get the hooks on.
It's still not properly fitted yet as I still cant close the bonnet properly.
Will leave the car+bar in the sun when I get the chance...

I think Colgen bra offers a lot more protection then the film.
You still can chip the film fairly easily but you will need a rock the size of your fist to make a dent on your car.

After some sun, the bra is nicely in place....but.... I cant close the bloody hood!
Seems that the bottom cover between the side panel and the hook is preventing the hood to close properly (see photo).
Anyone had the same problem?

Possibly you do not need to attach the hook. If its a tight close between the bonnet and guard with the bra in place it should hold tight and still close. Worth trying.

Tried that but still no luck.
Maybe its just mine that has got issues but I'm requesting a refund now.
Pity though because I really like the material.

That is a pity. I have the same one but don't get the chance to try it until the car arrives. But I think I would be more tempted to modify if possible. It might just need some small tailoring alteration? A local upholstry shop might have some. Ideas? But I do get where you are coming from.

I have Suntek PPF applied to full bonnet, bumper, guards, mirrors, front of rear wheel arches and on top of the rear bumper (where boot lid meets bumper).

Still not a stone chip in sight - it's highly effective.

(If I had my time again, I'd also get the A pillars done).

does the clear bra change the colour of the area of protection. secondly is the clear bra affected by extreme sunny days and thirdly is it visible to the naked eye. i did see one on another mustang and could just see a faint line across bonnet. do you recommend full or half bonnet. as my car will have a massive air intake scoop as ss

Rather than repeat myself, I'll link you to another of my posts which should answer most of your questions.

Indeed it is a pity as I really like the bra.
The agent is checking with USA and said he will get back to me.
Will keep you guys posted....

I've seen clear bra before and yes, you will be able to see where the bra ends if you only do half the bonnet.
But if you do full bonnet or/and full bumper, I dont think its noticeable.
