Battle scar. I'd live with it.

Unless it's a show car or in a museum, these beautiful cars can't stay perfect. Heck, I have a couple of blemishes the Ford factory put on my GT350 when they made it!

Lol! My splitter at 800bucks has just that, battle scars. Top, bottom edges you name it. Once it's no longer serviceable I will then replace it.

According to my installer (Xpel) rock chips that rip the PPF it would NOT be covered. it was put there to do what it did and if it bubbles or lifts up they will replace the whole piece. I am cool with that if it saves the paint I would leave it alone unless you want the PPF perfect then you are paying again to replace it.

I had several chips within a couple weeks time frame on a previous car that had suntek. My installer has done a number of my cars so he gladly called the suntek rep to see if they would replace it under warranty. I think if you're a frequent buyer, they're more likely to throw you a bone and replace it. Also depends on what part of the film was hit too. My hood is split into three smaller sheets because of the stripes and it costs a lot less to replace one strip than it would to replace the whole hood as one piece.

Good news, suntek is going to honor it and have my installer replace it at no charge.
