build dates are not on the window stick unless there is a series of numbers somewhere which decodes this.

Isn't that what the blend date is at the top of the window sticker?
Blend Date 120141028 = Build Date 10/28/2014.

Prepare your inbox. PM's are coming.... :p
Once the car has been built, everybody should be able to do that very easily using COTUS. Or am I misunderstanding what "build date" means?

ok if this blend series or numbers makes sense then the car i have a deposit on is a Monday built car getting the seatbelt and cat recall sorted today, had hood and trunk alignment issue as well. the DIB car i also placed a deposit on at another dealer is a Wed car with no issues whatsoever except my wife is pushing for the blue while black is what i prefer black with recaro seats OMG this is driving me crazy.

Wow, my PM inbox exploded. It took me awhile, but I've responded to all of you. I should have prefaced my offer with the fact that I can only look up a build date after the car is actually built. I was able to provide built dates for those of you whose cars are already produced, but many of you have cars that have yet to be built, so the following message appeared for your VIN's....

VIN STATUS: PRE-PRODUCTION VIN - NOT YET PRODUCED

No, that doesn't mean you have a pre-production car. It simply refers to the timeframe before production in which your VIN currently exists. As soon as your car is built, I can look up its actual "birthday."

I'm always happy to help, if I can.
