5 weeks No VIN;Build Date Need Help

Ordered 3-8 with a priority 10. Talked to my dealer and he said ford pulled no special orders this week (or something like that) said I should have a Vin next week (fingers crossed)!

Your dealer actually knows when a new allocation slot is coming up for them. Hang on a little longer....

I ordered 03/03 Still no vin. Even stopped showing up in cotus. I ordered a gt premium 401a Guard and saddle. For the last 2 week's ford service and my dealer keep saying I should get pulled next but I haven't. So same boat. The only positive is the down payment is getting bigger every month.

This!!!! I ordered 2/27 and while it's frustrating that I don't have my vehicle my down payment is growing substantially.

I believe that is what it means. The vin is issued, usually with a planned build date. My dealer indicated that usually about a week between the vin and a build, another week or so for the car, depending on how far it is being shipped.

Cotus finds car with vin# - still shows order processing

Just got my VIN today too, 7 wks 3 days after ordering. No build date assigned yet, but was told by FordService that it should be early May. Whoo Hoo! And thanks to Nick and Jeff for following up so rigorously.

It will show order processing until production actually starts. Mine did anyway.

If you have a VIN your dealer or FordService can tell you the scheduled build date.

I ordered 3/4 and got my VIN yesterday as well. Build to start first week in May. Pretty excited to see SOME progress!
