Can the "Shaker" panel on dash be removed?

Based off that illustration, I would say it's pretty clear that it pops out using a suggested plastic panel pry tool

Obviously but can it be done without removing the console? Based off that illustration Id say its pretty clear that the console has been removed but I can't imagine why it would be necessary if one is simply popping out the shaker panel

Yes the panel pops out without removing the console. The bad news was there was ZERO room behind the panel and it looked like the only way to find out what as behind the second layer was to remove the center stack/radio/nav so I mounted my toggle next to the e brake.

It's to turn off the Whipple fans if needed. Mostly when I'm trying to order my coffee at the D&D drive-up window speaker because they cant hear a thing over the small animals being sucked into my fans lol.
