Camera clipped on mirror

I bought a decent one to put into my truck, never got around to do it. My question will it work on my mustang? It is wider than center mirror.

I don’t see why it would work as most of those rear view mirror cameras usually have a universal clip/strap that goes around the mirror.

Only way to try is by test fitting the camera
